In a small bowl, add in flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Use a fork or whisk to combine. Set aside.

In a separate medium bowl, add in mashed banana, egg, brown sugar, vanilla extract and milk. Whisk to combine. Add in melted butter and whisk.

Add in the dry ingredients, whisk briefly until just combined. Folding in the chocolate chips.

Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Pour about ⅓ cup for each pancake and cook until you see the bubbles forming on top, flip with a spatula and cook the other side too until both sides are golden brown. Continue with the remaining batter.
Serve warm with maple syrup, banana slices and more chocolate chips. You can also top the pancakes with chopped pecans, if desired.
